The Helen Gold 5K – 10K charity event September 11th has grown from 200 runner-walkers in 2001 to over 1,000 participants. As a result, 100% of all contributions and registrations have helped raise over $910,000 for Parkinson’s Disease Research at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

The race date events start and end at La Paloma Plaza Shopping Center located at 119th and Glenwood. Our race is part of the Race KC Series, supported by the Kansas City Running Club and RaceDay Timing, and is heralded as one of the best-organized runs in the Metro Area.
